What's new in the Library?

Here's what's new at RMIT University Library - we're committed to constantly improving your learning experience, so stay tuned to this blog for more updates!


New Subject Guide:
Apps for Students and Academics gives you useful recommendations for apps that can help with productivity, general study and well being.

New feature in LibrarySearch
LibrarySearch now lets you know when new material of interest to you has been added via an RSS or email notification. 
  • To receive these notifications login to LibrarySearch, search for your area of interest, then select Save query. Go to your Favourites page and select the Saved Search tab
  • Here you can select either RSS or email as the notification type
  • New material that matches your search will now be sent to you via the notification type you have selected

New personalised tools in Google Scholar: 
My Library is a useful tool for flagging articles of interest in Google Scholar and My Citations allows you to set up a researcher profile to use Google Scholar to keep track of citations to your publications. In order to get the most of the My Citations and My Library tools, you must have a Google account and a Google Scholar Profile. To create your profile, click on My Citations and follow the on-screen prompts
