RMIT University and ABC News have partnered to relaunch award-winning news service Fact Check which is based at the University’s new state-of-the-art Media Precinct.

Join us at Swanston Library to hear Russell speak about how RMIT ABC Fact Check will test and adjudicate on the accuracy of claims made by politicians, public figures, advocacy groups and institutions engaged in public debate. In the age of 'fake news' and 'alternative facts' the role of fact checking is more important than ever.

This free event is open to students, staff and the public. You're welcome to BYO lunch.
